Our Philosophy

At The School For Dogs we understand the importance of communication. Whether between humans or our animal best friends, communication is vital in ensuring our relationships flow seamlessly throughout our lives. We strive to give our clients both two and four legged, the gift of communication.

Through balanced training techniques we are able to create effective pathways of communication for every individual dog. We understand that learning to speak dog is not easy, and we want to be here every step of the way. Learning the best ways to communicate with our pups, in addition to providing our dogs with the tools to communicate back to us, we can ensure a fulfilling life for both pet, and owner.

From potty training your new puppy, to the rescued senior dog, there is something to be learned from every dog. Let us help you give the gift of communication.

Mackenzie Simmons

As a life long animal lover, learning to communicate with her animal friends has always been Mackenzie’s greatest interest. She started her training career with horses, spending hours trick training and teaching every fun, silly, or even useful trick she could possibly think up. Going to every seminar on Liberty and trick training she could, Mack gathered all the knowledge she could on how equines learn! Since then, she has spent the last five years dedicated to canines and all they have to offer.

Over the coming years Mackenzie hopes to be able to positively impact the canine community by providing a space for education of all things dog! From group training classes to talk seminars, fostering a atmosphere of learning and growth is of Mackenzie’s utmost priority.
